My Approach

My practice is grounded in Relational Transactional Analysis (TA) — a relational, humanistic approach to therapy that explores the patterns shaping how we relate to ourselves and others. Many of these patterns developed early in life and continue to influence us in ways we don't always recognise.

In our work together, we slow down enough to notice these patterns, understand where they came from, and explore how things might be different. This isn't about being fixed — it's about developing a clearer, more compassionate relationship with yourself and the people in your life.

My style is collaborative, unhurried, and adapted to you. I don't follow a script. I follow you.

A particular sensitivity to cross-cultural life

I have a particular sensitivity to the experience of living between cultures — and to the questions of identity, belonging, and self that this can raise.

These experiences can be genuinely hard to put into words — especially with a therapist who hasn't lived them. I have. And that matters.

I offer therapy in English, French, and Japanese.

My international experience helps me understand the unique challenges faced by:

Expatriates and their families
International and cross-cultural couples
Third culture individuals
Professional migrants
Those navigating cultural transitions or re-entry

Training & professional memberships

I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (Psychotherapy) (CTA-P) and hold an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. My advanced postgraduate training was completed through a UKCP-accredited programme and reflects a high standard of professional competence in psychotherapy.

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I completed an MSc in Business Management in Europe and worked for many years in management roles across the technology and management consulting sectors. This background gives me a practical understanding of the demands, complexities, and pressures that many professionals experience in their working lives.

I hold active memberships with:

* British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

* UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

* International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis (IARTA)

* European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA)

I hold an enhanced DBS check, comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and am fully registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for GDPR compliance.

What working with me looks like

Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly or fortnightly depending on what works for you. We can meet in person in London or online — whichever feels most comfortable.

I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely listened to — where there's room for all of your experience, including the parts that are difficult to put into words. Our work is confidential, collaborative, and entirely at your pace.
