Individual Therapy
Your Journey of Growth and Healing
Something has shifted — or perhaps it has been shifting for a while. You may not be in crisis, but something doesn't feel right. There's a heaviness, a pattern you keep returning to, or a quiet sense of disconnection from yourself or the people around you.
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, look more carefully, and begin to understand what's actually going on — without judgement, without an agenda, and without pressure to have it all figured out before you arrive.
What brings people to therapy
There's no single reason to start therapy. My clients come with a wide range of experiences, including:
Anxiety and overwhelm
Persistent sense of pressure, worry, or feeling on edge that doesn't lift even when things are going well on paper.
Burnout and loss of direction
Exhaustion that goes beyond tiredness; a disconnection from work, purpose, or ambition that used to feel meaningful.
Low mood and self-criticism
Harsh inner voice, a tendency to feel "not enough," or a low-level sadness that's hard to explain to others.
Relationship patterns
Difficulties connecting, recurring conflicts, or a sense that the same dynamics play out across different relationships.
Identity and cultural adjustment
Questions of who you are, where you belong, or how to navigate life between different cultural worlds.
Life transitions
Significant changes (a move, a career shift, a loss, becoming a parent) that have surfaced something unexpected.
Past experiences
Earlier experiences that continue to shape how you feel, relate, and move through the world — including trauma.
Grief and loss
Including grief that doesn't follow the expected timeline, or losses that others haven't fully acknowledged.
How We Work Together
My approach is grounded in Relational Transactional Analysis — a way of understanding how your history, your inner world, and your relationships are all connected. Together, we look at the patterns that are shaping your experience and explore what might be different.
This isn't a prescriptive process. There's no homework, no fixed protocol, no expectation that you'll arrive with the right answers. We begin where you are.
Sessions are 50 minutes. We meet weekly or fortnightly — in person in London, or online. The frequency and focus of our work evolves as we go, based on what's most useful for you.
What clients often find through our work
A clearer understanding of why certain situations affect you the way they do. More space between a feeling and a reaction. A quieter inner critic, and a stronger sense of your own worth. The ability to be in relationships — including the one with yourself — in a way that feels more honest and more settled.
Therapy doesn't change the circumstances of your life. But it can change your relationship to them — and that often changes everything.
